As you can probably tell, I have been a contest-entering maniac lately. And it seems like it’s paying off!

I made it into the final cut of the music video for Jay Clifford’s song “Know When To Walk Away.” I know you’re all wondering if me and Zach Braff are bffs now. We are.

Just kidding. But I’m so happy I made it into the video (even though my music video debut is overshadowed by the 2 ladies seductively splashing to and fro in the pool.) Go here. My clip is within the first 1/3 of the video.

Hi, all!

Just wanted to alert you to the fact that I have begun performing in the Harvard Square area in Cambridge on the weekends. I figured a little busking here and there couldn’t hurt. My sister drew her caricatures all last summer and made more loot than I make at my 9-5. She’s good at what she does. And she came back this summer, so she sits and draws near me while I perform. The fearsome O’Reilly Sister Duo of Arts.

I’m rambling.

I’ve certainly met some interesting people so far. The Harvard Square regulars. Maybe some of them will let me take their photos so I can show you and get you all jazzed up. Just one more reason to come see me sing!

Here’s a mini schedule of when I plan to be out there unless weather is bad:

July 18: 3pm - 6

July 19: 12pm - I lose my voice

July 20: same schedule as the 19th

Same weekend schedule for July 25-27. And also August 1-3.

Come on out! I’d sure appreciate it.

I’m very excited to be seeing Jay Clifford on Saturday night (5/9). He’s playing a solo set at Club Passim so it will be perfectly intimate and ideal for his gorgeous voice. I’m hoping for some Rosebud tunes in addition to his other solo work. Oh, and I have an extra ticket if anyone wants to join me.  I think his set is at 11pm.

My pal, Julia, put my 4.24 show date in an online news(paper). I guess that’s the best way to describe the medium. She’s been publishing this semi-weekly to keep a really great circle of friends clued in to happenings, random facts, art, sports, music and tons of other subjects. I applaud her devotion to the awesome site that is The Bayard Buzz. Check it out!
